Party Rental- Entering a New Era?
By: Steve Arendt CEO of Teeco Solutions
Recently a banker friend commented that he was seeing some positive economic activity coming from small pockets of industry. He was also quick to point out that these companies were different than they were a few years ago. He observed the following about the changed companies- They:
had less employees than before.
had a core group of highly effective employees
had improved every system within the company
increased efficiencies in every aspect of the company
Moving forward, he reported that these companies had no plans to notably increase their amount of employees. Yet, they had aggressive plans to increase sales and production. These companies felt that they were better companies than before and ready for a new normal. The new norm- Less employees, less overhead, better efficiencies, higher production and better profits. I wonder if the party rental industry will follow suite? Will we be more effective companies than we were a handful of years ago?
What do you think?
