Tent Stake Storage & Handling

Counting stakes, delivering stakes, distributing them on site, collecting them at the end of the job and then re-inventorying them requires a lot of unnecessary manual labor. The time required adds up quickly and detracts from the profitability of a job. Teeco’s innovative solution is stackable stake bins. Having a predetermined number of stakes (75 – 100) that fits in a bin eliminates the need to count the stakes prior to loading the truck at the beginning of a tent job. Storing these bins one on top of another conserves valuable floor space in the warehouse. The forklift-friendly design of the bins eliminates the need for any heavy lifting when handling the stakes.  Using either the P1 or P2 power unit to transport the bins to the exact location on the jobsite where the stakes are needed can save dozens of trips to and from the truck.

When using the Teeco stake driving system with the stackable stake bins, driving stakes gets even more efficient. Simply reaching into the easily accessible supply of stakes for the next stake to be driven saves trips back and forth to the supply located at the truck. The same is true when using the Teeco tent stake pulling operation—the system enables you to pull a stake and place it right into a bin, which is ultimately the stake’s final storage location. Stakes never have to be handled over and over but can be transported and stored in the same bins.

Testimonial

"Owning a Teeco Tent Washing Machine was the best decision I could have made. Operating a rental company without this piece of equipment would be the same as not using two wheel dollies, chair dollies, pallet jacks, etc. The initial cost certainly caused me to move slowly, but so did the clock as the crew worked to hand wash. The cost can be justified; automating your tent washing is the right direction to follow. One benefit is that it does give you a competitive edge."
